  If you like your food in standard measurement units rather than metric, this is the place for you! A variety of breads like Italian, flat bread, and the ever exotic multi grain wheat will surely get your pre-marathon race carb load on the right track.
  
  The menu is par for the course in terms of Subway restaurants so unless you've been living under a rock and missed Jared Fogle's career of spruiking their wares, details about their menu can probably be spared this review.
  
  Staff are friendly and seating is plentiful and windows are I closed free of charge so that you can dine and view the decade long construction project that the city of Dalhart seems to be mired in.
  
  It's no Starbuck's but coffee is available as a drink item! While probably not an official Subway sanctioned menu item and a possible violation of their franchise agreement, with their choice of a Keurig instant coffee maker it seems obvious that the staff listened to its customer base and filled a request for the hot beverage. And they didn't skimp! It's a top of the line Keurig with both large and small cup size settings. But, it's self service though so don't expect a tattooed barista with dreads to draw in your foamed milk a kitten with pointy ears in your pumpkin spice latte.... In fact, don't expect any foamed milk or pumpkin spice latte.
